I didn’t have to look far when I was searching for a graduate program in Kansas City. UMKC was accessible and supportive as I received my MPA. I think fondly of the 2 years I lived over by the Nelson-Atkins Museum, worked as a graduate assistant on a research project with my department, and took classes in the evening. One of my favorite memories was going on a study abroad trip to Portugal, which was funded through a scholarship from the Women’s Graduate Assistance Fund. Proud to be a UMKC alum. Roo up!
